| Tracy Lawhon, J.D. of Tragara
Pharmaceuticals, Inc., will be a keynote speaker
and a participant in a panel discussion at Indiana University
on April 2-3, 2008. Futures in Biology, a program for undergraduate
students in the School of Biology, is a series of informal
career talks regarding the role of regulation and patent law,
and general law and biology. Ms. Lawhon will participate as
part of a panel. Seminars in Biotechnology is a 1-credit seminar
course that is required for Biotechnology majors. Ms. Lawhon
will be the keynote speaker for the Seminars in Biotechnology.
Nancy Magill, Ph.D. is the Lecturer and Assistant Director
of the Biotechnology Training Program at Indiana University,
and will be moderating the discussion. The Futures in Biology
discussion will take place on April 2nd at 6p in Jordan Hall,
and the Seminars in Biology discussion will take place on
April 3rd at 5:30p in Jordan Hall. |
